Description
Mid to late 19th century Kurdish rug with a lustrous pile, and subtle pastel shades betraying the highest quality of the dyer’s art: and the complex medallion design is a personal favourite, and testimony to the weaver’s skills. With areas of heavy wear, the piece has been conserved rather than restored.
