Description
In good condition, this mid 19th century rug from the Meanderes Valley region retains its kelim ends and is in full pile. There has been some professional restoration in one or two places, virtually undetectable. The colours are typical of the design, which harks back to the “Transylvanian” rugs of the preceding centuries.
