Kordi longrug, with glossy lustrous wool and good strong colours. Woven some time around 1930. Some very minor restoration repairs.
Kordi weavers retained the use of natural vegetable dyes long after other weavers succumbed to the labour-saving temptations of chemical dyes, and the wool used was often of very high quality.
